1.  Procedure text

a)  Kalimat imperative, adalah kalimat perintah. Contoh :

·     Open yoour book

·     Open the door

b) Adverb of sequence {keterangan yang menunjukkan urutan}.

c)  Procedure text is a text that shoos a proses in order or to provite.  Instructions  of :

·     How to make something  cara membuat sesuatu.

·     How to use something  cara menggunakan sesuatu.

·     How to do something  cara melakukan sesuatu.

How to do something, bisa diganti dengan aktivitas.

Contoh : how to fix the lamp.

·     How to get something / somewhere  cara menunjukkan tempat.

Examples of procedure texts include :

v Recipes  how to make

v Itineraries  how to do

v Instructions  how to use

v Directions  how to get

2.  Construding a procedure

1) An introductory statement  the GOAL or the AIM.

·     Adverb of sequens V₁

·     The title of the text

·     An introductory paragraph

2) Materials / ing redients / what you need.

·     Steps / methods / the way / instructions / directions / procedure.

·     A list

·     A paragraph

3) A sequence of steps / ways / methods /  instructions .

·     The steps begin with a command / imperative  V₁

·     Numbers can be used to show an order.

·     Adverb af sequence = first, second, next, third, then, next, then, next, of terward, after that, finally, ect.
